Al Mitchell "Director"
At age 17, with an impressive 43-1 amateur boxing record to his credit, Al dropped his gloves to start coaching at both the amateur and professional levels. In 1989, Mitchell took the head coaching position at the USOEC and served as the 1996 Olympic Team’s head coach and the 2004 Olympic Team’s technical adviser. |

David Reid
In addition to being a 1996 Olympic Boxing Gold Medalist, David was named USOEC Assistant Coach in 2003 and has been the acting USOEC Head Coach on numerous occasions. He has also coached USOEC resident athlete Olympians Roberto Benitez, 2004 Iraqi Olympic boxer Najah Alithe as well as the entire 2004 U.S. Olympic team. |
